We hold a Starlight Quality certificate, which means that on top of enjoying high-quality accommodation, you will also have access to one of the best spots in Extremadura for stargazing (the Milky Way, nebulae, constellations, stars, the moon and the planets), while listening to the still of the night.
A space for professionals
Whether you’re a professional or a non-professional astronomer or astrophotographer, we have a dedicated observation area –just 50 metres from the house– that can be reached by car, where you will be able to power up your equipment, as it is fitted with several plugs. The observation spot is a very safe place, which means that you can leave your equipment there while having a shower, getting some sleep or warming up by the fireplace in the cold winter time.
Weather permitting, every evening we go out to enjoy the night sky. so whenever you fancy; just come down to our watching platform. That said, we recommend wearing warm clothing; even though it’s August, we advise you to wear long trousers, socks and trainers, a jacket, a hat or cap, and above all, make sure that your clothes are comfortable.
Observe and enjoy
If you want to observe the nearest star, our Sun, bidding farewell in shades of red, blue and orange, and see the stars and the Milky Way gradually occupying the night sky, take a seat in our comfy armchairs with views of the universe.
